Maison Louis Antiques was co-founded by Francois Meillant and Jeremy Vlcan in 2015 with the goal of bringing the beautiful antiques from different eras of French history to the US market.

Jeremy has spent the last 15 years in the ecommerce industry with several online furniture companies including Hayneedle, Interior Define, and Switch Modern.

His interest in art and the impressionists took him to France for the first time on a class trip in high school. He and his wife, Anne, have had the fortunate opportunity to return several times over the years and fall in love with it's people, food and culture. 

Francois is an entrepreneur who lives in Paris; his family has been in the art and furniture auction business for more than three generations – starting with his great-grandfather. Combining his deep knowledge of the French furniture and antiquities market and Jeremy’s background in ecommerce (and a bit of wine) – Maison Louis was born. 

We hope to offer examples of classic pieces from a variety of eras and have lovingly restored much of what you will find on the site. We also carry some pieces that will require a bit of love, (like new upholstery for example) and are happy to finish the pieces to your specification or ship them as is.
